Meet Director Ashton
Hello! I am Ashton Whitton,
co-owner/co-director of AA Academy. So glad you’re here!
I am so excited for this new adventure! I have been working with children for as long as I can remember- babysitting from a young age, working at a daycare in high school and college, and teaching in an elementary school for 7 years. I have both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Education. I love watching kids problem-solve, play, learn, and grow. I have two sweet sons who teach me something new every day. I am married to my amazing husband, Tyler. I enjoy spending time with family, traveling, and watching true crime and reality TV.
Meet Director Aleyna
Hi! Welcome to the AA Academy family! My name is Aleyna Batson and I am Co-owner and Co-director at AA Academy.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
For the past 13 years, I’ve been lucky to work with incredible kids in various roles - from working in a daycare and a before and after school program to being a paraprofessional, and even working as an elementary school teacher. I love watching each child’s individuality unfold and being part of their learning and growing process. Outside of my professional life, I’m a proud dog mom to two energetic German Shepherds, and I am married to the love of my life, Caleb. In my free time, you’ll find me nose-deep in a good book or spending quality time with friends and family.
With us being sisters, and our lives spent working with children, we are both excited to start this new journey together. We are all about creating a family atmosphere - a safe, inspiring, fun, and inclusive space for your little ones. Thank you for being a part of our journey!
